Georgia is an amazing state. There is so much to see and do. Things move at a different pace than the rest of the U.S. Southern hospitality exudes from everyone you meet. The polite "Yes Ma’am" and "Yes Sir" seem to come out effortlessly, and the work ethic and dedication to meeting the customer’s expectations are things that seem to have been handed down for generations. While I was in Georgia a few weeks ago, I got to spend time with many of our loyal growers and many of our world class Valley dealers.

I was lucky enough to spend a day with one of our Georgia dealers and our territory manager on a job troubleshooting and fixing a center pivot pump station that had been hit by lightning. It was a day that started at 4am and ended at 8pm. We drove over three hours to and from the farm and worked through high heat and humidity to get the center pivot up and running again. What impressed me the most was that while our guys were working they were also taking other customer’s calls and kept those guys up and running as well. High productivity and the ability to multi-task are what is expected of a Valley dealer, and they delivered 100%.
